animation

My favourite thing about watching Wallace and Gromit as a kid was when I noticed the thumb and fingerprints of the animators moving around the plasticine with each frame. It somehow made it feel very real, very human and - most exciting for a kid - possible to make.

I’ve played around with it since I saw a kid, and over the last few years have been working in a scratchy, practical hand-drawn stop-motion style. We’ve found it works perfectly for comedy, breaking up footage and giving a sorta ‘child’s fridge drawing’ vibe to a scene.

It’s time intensive, but we can offer commission based hand-drawn cutout animation.
